FAQ

FAQ: Question 2 – How long is the Cambridge Protocol?

The Protocol is designed to last 10 days.  Our Benzodiazepine protocol is designed to last 20 days. We anticipate all clients will leave the treatment facility after completion of the Protocol treatment.

FAQ: Question 3 – How do I get to the Protocol facility? What happens when I arrive at the airport?

You will need to make travel arrangements to the airport nearest the Protocol location.  After arriving at the airport and passing through immigration a protocol coordinator will be waiting for you.  They will be holding a sign reading “Protocol Coordinator.” We will transport you from the airport to the treatment facility.  The best time to arrive is the first day of the Protocol.  If you have trouble flying in on that day and would like to fly a day early, we can make arrangements for you to stay at a hotel near the airport.  We will pick you up at the hotel the next morning.

FAQ: Question 4 – Will I be in a private room at the Protocol facility?

During your check in at the Protocol facility, you may be assigned one roommate.  Recent studies have shown that roommates can greatly facilitate the support structure of recovery.

FAQ: Question 5 – Can I bring a laptop computer?

When you come to the treatment facility, becoming immersed in the Protocol is important.  Devices like a laptop computer will detract from the overall objective of the Protocol treatment.  Please leave your laptop computer at home. Cell phones are permitted at the facility.
